Board Member, Kyle Eaton

We’d like to introduce board member Kyle Eaton this month. Kyle is a Certified Financial Planner Professional and has been an asset to our team. He learned about Grace Like Rain at a Refuge for Women banquet and has served on our board for 1 year.   Kyle tells with us what helped him make the decision to serve on the board and how that decision has impacted him today.  Living life with a single mom struggling to make ends meet was familiar to Kyle. He lived it first-hand. He tells us how God’s grace and mercy was apparent in his life as he was introduced to men who provided leadership and resources at appropriate times. He wants to be that same kind of blessing to the moms and children GLR serves.   Kyle shares that being involved on the board has really opened his eyes to the needs of those around him. “It’s easy to live in a bubble and only be concerned with yourself and your family. There are so many hurting right now in our city,” he explains. Serving with GLR has given him the opportunity to see how a seemingly inconsequential act can have a meaningful impact in the lives of a family that is hurting.
